The application window for The Border-to-Border Broadband Development Grant Program is March 2, 2023, at 4:00PM. This grant program provides financial resources that help make the business case for new and existing providers to invest in broadband infrastructure into unserved and underserved areas of the state. Eligible applicants for this program are an incorporated business or partnership, a political subdivision, an Indian tribe, a Minnesota nonprofit organization organized under chapter 317A, a Minnesota cooperative association organized under chapter 308A or 308B, or a Minnesota limited liability corporation organized under chapter 322C for the purpose of expanding broadband access. This is a competitive program with $67M in funds available, $25 million in State General Revenue Funding and $42 million in Capital Projects Funds.
