Consumer Connect Plus

Most customers have Wi-Fi in their home. Combining Consumer Connect Plus with a powerful in-home platform like the GigaFamily allows you to provide a very satisfying customer experience profitably.

See and Manage the Subscriber Premises Experience

Consumer Connect Plus allows full visibility into the subscriber premises network, including the Wi-Fi experience. Service providers can leverage Consumer Connect Plus with an individual subscriber on a support call, to manage network-wide upgrades, or to understand the average device count per subscriber so marketing can target their offerings. Consumer Connect Plus is optimized to work with members of the Calix GigaFamily, as well as other Calix ONTs or third party in-home devices via TR-069. Consumer Connect Plus also has a network operations and a subscriber-based component. NetOps can use it to create and deploy firmware upgrades as a flexible, modular, and easily modifiable task. Additionally, individual subscribers can be targeted, providing visibility to all devices attached to the in-home router and the performance of each device. No more mysteries as to whether a neighbor’s radios are impacting a subscriber experience.

Consumer Connect Plus can be used for:

  • Front Line Support: Remotely resolve many issues quickly and without escalation. Site visits and unnecessary swap-outs are reduced, saving money and improving customer satisfaction. The combined power of the GigaCenter family with Consumer Connect Plus alone and/or Flow Analyze Plus can also allow the service provider to upsell at appropriate points during support calls.
  • Marketing: Make use of in-home device counts to correlate with other data and target marketing campaigns and initiatives.
  • Network Engineering: See inside the home to resolve issues. Sitescan, a feature in Consumer Connect Plus, enables deep insights into the in-home subscriber experience, such as neighbor radios that are overlapping Wi-Fi channels in the home.  
  • Installers. Understand where subscriber coverage may be poor before leaving the home, setting realistic expectations and mitigating trouble calls. Installers can also recommend where subscribers could deploy a second device, like the 844E, to fix problems immediately.
