Calix tracks employee tenure, total and voluntary turnover rates, and internal mobility. These metrics support strategic planning, improve employee satisfaction, and strengthen talent acquisition and retention.
- The Calix workforce spans the globe, with employees in Europe, Africa, Australia, and Southeast Asia. Approximately 61 percent of employees reside in North America, 21 percent in India, and 16 percent in China.
- In 2024, average tenure was 4.7 years, up from 4.2 years in 2023.
- The total turnover rate is 12 percent, of which 3 percent is voluntary.
- In 2024, 8 percent of open positions were filled by internal candidates.

Our social impact
Calix is committed to creating a positive social impact by leveraging its resources, expertise, and network to address pressing societal challenges—driven by a belief that business can be a meaningful force for good in the communities where it operates and beyond.
Social impact initiatives in 2024 reflected that commitment.
- Calix organized 54 impactful events, an 80 percent increase from 2023.
- More than 400 donated laptops were repurposed for individuals in need.
- More than 700 hours were donated during Calix's Season of Giving to benefit employee-chosen causes.
Our environmental impact
Calix is dedicated to reducing our environmental footprint through raising awareness and engaging in eco-initiatives within the internal Sustainability Affinity Group. Members meet monthly to learn, strategize, and discuss different sustainability-focused themes, strengthening the passionate and innovative Calix green mindset.
Our culture
Calix tracks employee learning and leadership development initiatives alongside comprehensive benefits including paid leave, wellness programs, and other work-life balance resources. These metrics help foster an inclusive workplace, support employee growth, and maintain a healthy, balanced work environment.
