How Broadband is Empowering Safer Communities With Guardian Group

In the latest episode of Great Leaders With Martha, Martha Galley, Chief Sustainability Officer at Calix, sat down with Andrea Lowe of Guardian Group, for an eye-opening discussion on how broadband providers can help combat human trafficking—a crisis often hiding in plain sight. Field technicians, who enter homes and businesses every day, are uniquely positioned to recognize warning signs and protect vulnerable individuals. 

The conversation highlighted Operation IFAST, an initiative launched by CLTel in partnership with Guardian Group, which trains broadband teams to identify and responsibly report indicators of trafficking. Calix is proud to support this mission by matching donations from the first 200 broadband providers who join Operation IFAST in November 2025. Together, we can expand this life-saving effort and strengthen the communities we serve.
