Calix marketing takes home Best in Class award from BMMA, while My Calix Store wins Oracle 2018 Markie Award for excellence in ecommerce
PETALUMA, CA – May 2, 2018 – Calix, Inc. (NYSE: CALX) today announced its sales and marketing teams have been honored with industry recognition from the Broadband Multimedia Marketing Association (BMMA) and Oracle. In April, the BMMA selected Calix for the 2018 Best in Class Vendor Marketing Award for the launch of Mesh-enhanced Carrier Class Wi-Fi. In addition, Calix was named the winner of the 2018 Markie Award from Oracle for Best B2B Commerce Experience for its My Calix Store online experience. Both of these awards highlight the commitment Calix has to its service provider customers, enabling them to connect everyone and everything at an unprecedented pace.
“This BMMA Award recognizes a major inflection point in our go-to-market strategy. With the launch of our cutting-edge mesh Wi-Fi solution, we shifted our focus from simply marketing to our customers to partnering with them to help them succeed,” said Matt Collins, Calix Chief Marketing Officer. “We introduced resources and completed over 100 consults and workshops that were designed to help our customers market their new services and communicate a compelling new value proposition to their subscribers across all channels. Our ultimate goal is to help our customers generate new revenue streams, establish a central role in their subscribers’ homes and businesses, and win in their markets.”
To help service providers jump-start their managed and whole-home Wi-Fi service offerings, the Calix team developed campaign content and offered segmentation strategies and enablement resources that could be customized for own their campaigns. In addition, the Calix marketing team conducted consulting sessions with service providers to help them develop their new campaigns. While the launch and campaign generated record levels of engagement and revenue ramp for Calix, the biggest success was the unprecedented partnership between Calix and its customers.
For over a decade, Oracle has presented the Markie Awards to recognize innovation and excellence in data-driven modern marketing, shining a spotlight on organizations who have delivered superior customer experiences with technology, expertise, and creativity. The awards cover 36 categories and recognize innovation and excellence across the entire customer lifecycle from marketing and commerce to sales and customer service.
