Nancy Tichbon

Chief Customer Officer

Nancy Tichbon is Chief Customer Officer at Calix. She leads the company's global customer organization, which covers customer success, technical support, customer advocacy and services. Her team helps broadband service providers grow their businesses, deliver great subscriber experiences and get the full value of the Calix platform.

Tichbon has led teams in telecommunications and software. Building startups, leading large-scale transformations and running businesses with full general management responsibility have given her an operator's view of the business. Throughout her career, she has tied customer experience directly to commercial results and has led large customer-facing organizations to deliver both.

She helped build the customer experience function at Virgin Mobile Australia and then became a founding executive of Virgin Mobile Canada. There, she designed and built customer operations that grew with the business from launch to more than one million customers. During that time, the company received J.D. Power customer satisfaction recognition for five consecutive years.

At Bell Canada, Tichbon led a customer care organization of more than 5,000 people serving consumer and business customers across home phone, internet, television and mobility. Customer satisfaction rose 44% under her leadership. She went on to lead Bell Mobility's 5,000-person sales organization, where the team delivered record-breaking customer growth.

In software, Tichbon has driven both retention and expansion at leading SaaS companies. As Managing Director of Sage Canada, she was accountable for the business and its go-to-market execution. She later led Sage's global customer operations across nine countries and 32 products. At Intuit, she led global customer success for 10 million customers across a business generating more than $15 billion in revenue.

Her honors include The Globe and Mail's Report on Business Best Executive Award in Operations. Outside of work, she is a former competitive figure skater who competed from age 5 to 17.
