Michael Weening
President and Chief Executive Officer
Michael is the chief executive officer at Calix and serves on the company’s board of directors. He brings more than 20 years of experience driving growth, strategy, and transformation. He was promoted to his current role in September 2022, after serving as president and chief operating officer.
Before joining Calix, Michael held senior leadership roles at Salesforce, including senior vice president of global customer success and senior vice president of customer success, services, and alliances for Japan and Asia-Pacific. Earlier in his career, Michael was vice president of business and consumer sales at Bell Mobility in Canada and held sales leadership roles at Microsoft in both Canada and the United Kingdom.
Michael earned a Bachelor of Arts in business administration from Brock University and completed executive education programs at Queen’s University, the Wharton School, and the University of Southern California.
