The 2017 Calix ConneXions Innovation and User Conference is celebrating its 14th year, by setting new registration records as it transforms into the leading educational event for the communications industry. With industry luminaries from some of the world’s most innovative service providers presenting on the main stage, the conference is a must-attend event to learn about winning strategies and groundbreaking technologies.
This year’s conference also features several new events over the course of four days. For the first time, the Broadband Forum will host the Broadband Access Summit Event (BASE) at the nearby Encore Las Vegas on Sunday, October 29, just before the kick-off of Calix ConneXions. The BASE event will feature global Tier 1 operators, leading industry analysts, and systems and component suppliers discussing the latest advancements in Gfast and NG-PON2 technologies.
This year also marks an expansion of the Calix ConneXions conference agenda with 36 different sessions across 12 workshop topics and 20 specialized training classes. Certification testing will also be offered on-site for the first time, with several opportunities for attendees to join a growing number of Calix-certified engineers and technicians.
The learning opportunities are abundant to all Calix ConneXions attendees and are now being extended to remote participants through live streaming capabilities.
For those who cannot attend in person, the excitement of Calix ConneXions will be available online through live streaming of the keynote presentations.
On Monday, October 30, from 8 am – 11:30 am Pacific Time, viewers can be a part of the kick-off of the conference and the recognition of the 2017 Calix Innovation Award winners. The kick-off session will highlight strategies and technologies that are critical for delivering an exceptional subscriber experience. As the morning session concludes, Calix will unveil new, cutting-edge technology that will help communications providers redefine the subscriber premises, unlock new revenue streams and reduce operating costs.
