The E7-2 VDSL2-48C (combo – integrated voice and data) line card delivers the industry’s highest density modular VDSL2 solution, with full ADSL2+ fallback functionality in 48 port increments, enabling 96 ports per 1RU.
The E7-2 VDSL2-48 (overlay – data with external voice) dual slot line card features integrated splitters for use in both ANSI and ETSI markets (600 / 900 Ohm), allowing external TDM POTS to be combined with data, extending the depreciation schedule and maximizing the ROI for existing voice lines.
These line cards include the ability to deliver bonding and ADSL2+ PTM mode today, enabling extensive business and residential deployment flexibility.

This line card has been optimized for CLEC and data-only applications, maximizing the operational savings enabled by deploying a pure next generation access network (no legacy or TDM infrastructure). The VDSL2-48D line card can also be used for DSLAM replacement where external splitters and voice lines remain in service.

These ONTs auto-detect both GPON and point-to-point GE technologies, maximizing deployment flexibility. The 700 ONT family consists of a wide variety of models designed to fit any business application including 1-8 GE ports, 2-8 T1/E1 ports, 2-8 POTS, and 1-8 RF video ports. The business services ONTs are available in either wall- or rack-mounted models and can be powered by either -48 V or 24 V (required for mobile backhaul applications) and are designed to enable carrier-class MEF Ethernet services and drive revenue growth.
