Learn the common tasks and procedures you need to manage Calix C7 networks through CMS. This one day, instructor-led class includes lectures, discussions, demonstrations, and hands-on labs.

Using the Calix Virtual Classroom, you'll be connected via the Internet to a live CMS server with attached C7 networks. During class you'll complete hands-on activities by interacting directly with the CMS server.

The Calix Virtual Classroom offers all the benefits of traditional classroom instruction, without the travel. Your instructor is available throughout the class to help with exercises and answer questions.

Who should attend

This course is designed for people who have experience with the C7, but want more experience with CMS, including:

  • Technicians who perform network setup, service provisioning, and operations with the Calix C7
  • Technicians and network administrators responsible for network monitoring, user administration, and security

Prerequisites

  • Comfort with using computers and software
  • Calix C7 Hands on Fundamentals course (or equivalent experience)
  • Getting Started with CMS webinar

Reference tools and learning aids

During the class, you'll follow along with the lectures, demonstrations, and lab exercises using a comprehensive Reference Guide. After class, use the Reference Guide to review class content and view procedures.
