This class prepares you to install and provision an Aztek 5000S, which provides ESA services for the Calix C7. Learn how the Aztek 5000S interfaces with the Calix C7 GR303 interface and review installation procedures into Calix enclosures. Learn how the Aztek 5000S can be managed and receive automatic switch database updates via the optional Aztek Intelligent Management System (AIMS) software.

This course is designed for people who have experience with the C7, but want more experience with CMS, including:
- Technicians preparing to install and verify operation of the Aztek 5000S into a Calix network.
- Engineers and planners who want hands on experience using the Aztek 5000S in a Calix network.
Prerequisites
- Knowledge of telecommunications and engineering standards
- Comfort with using computers and software
- Completion of the Aztek 5000S System Overview Webinar
- Completion of the C7 Hands-On Fundamentals class or equivalent knowledge and experience
